Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement
Tonight I worked on the rear wheel. Last night I watched a guy on YouTube take out a bearing with a concrete sleeve Anchor (5/8" x 4 1/14" Dynabolt Red Head from Canadian tire pictured).
So I tried it out myself and it worked! I used a pipe wrench to hold the sleeve from spinning and tightened the hex nut so that it pushed the sleeve against the wedge on the inner side of he bearing. I then hammered on a socket extension against the inside part of the anchor from the other side. Out popped the bearing!
To take out bearing on the gear side of the wheel I hammered on what I thought was the inner spacer. I didn't realize the gear side bearing was integral to the spacer. The All Balls bearing kit I bought has no spacer.
What do I do?
Do I need a new spacer or just install with no spacer? Seems like it should work as the outer races will both be seated against something inside.

It's been awhile
It's been awhile. Progress has been slow BUT, I found some side covers and another tank ($75 for all)! The tank is in mint shape inside too!
I also finally received my $7 grips from Ebay!
Right now I'm waiting for my friend to press out the lower shock mounts out of the swing arm and once that's done I will be getting it and the frame soda blasted and painted. Also waiting on tires to get mounted on the wheels and then I can start putting the bike back together!
Also received from Canada's Motorcycle an oil filter (Emgo), air filter (Emgo), some clear braided fuel line(Motion pro), and wheel bearings for the front and rear wheels (all balls) in the mail.
And just today ordered some light black lightweight headlight brackets and a in-line fuel filter from Dime City Cycles.
I think just about all that's left to buy is led signals, led tail light, chain, and sprockets. I'm also missing the rubber on the right foot peg. Finally, I need to do something about a seat....
